"Food was great 3 out of 5 I just find it lacking in options that’s why. I guess they prioritize the coffee menu which is great also. I ordered the cookies and cream but i find it too sweet. I forgot to level down the sugar level. The place is quiet and has a great view. It’s not hot also cause they have ac. If you want a place to unwind after you visit the church, this place is great it has overlooking views of the mountains"

"Perfect for chilling. It is a quiet place and peaceful. It is nature vibes here. If you want to inhale fresh air, this a perfect place and highly recommended. Location: Back side of Simala Shrine, Sibonga, Cebu The food were good, they will serve freshly cooked food. Their pasta pesto and spanish sardines pasta are tasty. The price is acceptable for a cafe business. Wifi and service water are available. Note: The road is elevated and a little bit rough due to rainy season."

"We had our lunch here after we visited Simala shrine. Their food was great for its price and it tasted great. Not everything on the menu was available tho. The drinks were on the pricier side but they do have juice pitchers available for groups. The food was served in about 15 minutes. You'll have a great view of the mountains while eating. The AC inside wasn't really that cold and since we were sitting on the table for groups which was located beside the glass wall, it was pretty hot that we had to turn on the electric fan to alleviate the heat. The sun was also shining directly on that spot so it would have helped if they had some blinds on that area."

"We visited Cafe Malaya - Simala today, and it was truly a refreshing experience. This branch, owned by the same folks behind Cafe Malaya - Alcoy, is conveniently located near the famous Simala Parish Church in Sibonga, Cebu. The highlight of the place is definitely the view—set against a backdrop of lush mountains and a peaceful valley below. It’s the perfect spot to relax and sip coffee while giving your eyes, mind, and soul a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of Cebu City life. We tried three different coffee drinks and one non-coffee flavor. All tasted great—definitely satisfying for coffee lovers looking for quality and flavor. Overall, it’s a must-visit café for anyone exploring the area. The ambiance, the view, and the coffee blend together for a serene and enjoyable experience. A little more attention to service or seating comfort could make it a perfect 5-star spot—but even now, it's absolutely worth a stop!"

"This is the highly recommended place for people who don't know where to go after you've been in Simala Church because some might go to the south for their stopover relaxing spot and I am so glad that I don't need to drive so far. Their foods are very good. The price is reasonable for the quality, so I rate it 10/10. The view is calming and the atmosphere is solemn."
